2006 – 2009, depozitarea trunchiurilor
Cu sprijinul Fundaţiei Aldea Tudorache am început să cărăm trunchiurile celor 412 cireşi într-o curte din apropiere, unde au fost aşezate cum s-a putut mai repede, claie peste grămadă. Drumurile au durat 1 săptămână.
Cele 412 trunchiuri cu coroana tăiată au petrecut sub cerul liber mai bine de 4 ani. Ger, ploaie, ninsoare, canicula le-au primit pe scoarţă, în aşteptare. Parte din ele s-au degradat. Din timp în timp le vizitam, pentru a împrospăta gândului acea imagine, acea stare. Aşteptam şi noi o idee, un context, un start al doritei expoziţii, care nu ştiam unde şi când va fi, şi nici cum va arăta. (foto)
2006 – 2009 Storing the trunks
With the help of Aldea Tudorache Foundation, the 412 tree trunks are taken to a nearby yard, stored hastily one atop another. It took one week to transport them.
All the 412 trunks with their crowns removed remained exposed to the elements for more than four years. Frost, rain, snowfalls, and canicular summer heat altered their bark. Some have deteriorated. From time to time we visited them, just to freshen up in our minds the images, the feelings about what happened. We were also looking for an idea, a context, a start for the exhibition we were longing for, but could not imagine either what it would look like or when and where it will be created. (photo)
