2007, 16 septembrie – Hot Art 6. Peisaj în curtea din dos a oraşului.
Goethe Institut Bucureşti organizează “Public Space” http://bazis.adatbank.transindex.ro/pdf/2007_04bazis.pdf manifestare culturală şi de atitudine care include şi povestea livezii de cireşi. Episodul primeşte numele articolului de lege privitor la tăierea pomilor în spaţiul urban: Art 6, Hot.10 din 25/01/2001 : Pentru fiecare pom tăiat în oraş se plantează alţi 4. Cele 412 trunchiuri sunt pregătite pentru prima lor vizionare publică, pe simeza ad-hoc din curtea depozitului. Grămezile de buşteni cu ramurile scurtate sunt aşezate în forma unui amfiteatru ce avea să primească pe scena sa grupul de vizitatori. 16 septembrie, după amiază, exotica locaţie se lasă explorată pentru scurt timp de un grup destul de numeros: arhitecţi, artişti, oameni de litere, studenţi şi în genere cetăţeni preocupaţi de ameliorarea calităţii “spaţiului public bucureştean”, care … le aparţine. Într-un dialog vizual cu cele 412 trunchiuri, adunarea ascultă câteva speech-uri ale iniţiatorilor: ecologie, legislaţie, arhitectură, peisagistică, demers artistic. Toţi suntem de acord cu toate cele auzite… Se fac multe poze, se discută aprins. După 2 ore, adunarea se îmbarcă în autocare şi pleacă. Cele 412 trunchiuri îşi continuă aşteptarea. (foto)
2007, September 16th – Hot Art 6. Landscape in the town’s backyard.
The Goethe Institute in Bucharest organises “Public Space” http://bazis.adatbank.transindex.ro/pdf/2007_04bazis.pdf a cultural and awareness-raising event that also features the story of the cherry orchard. The episode is named after the article of the law regarding the cutting of the trees in the urban space: Art 6, Hot.10 din 25/01/2001 : for each tree cut down in an urban zone another four shall be planted. The 412 trunks are arranged for the first public viewing in the ad-hoc exhibition space of the junkyard. The piles of trees with their branches cut are disposed in the shape of an amphitheatre. The arena in the centre is for the visitors.
September 16th, in the afternoon, quite a large group of architects, artists, writers, students and other people driven by awareness for upgrading “the quality of Bucharest public space” that …belongs to them, explores this exotic site. In dialogue with the 412 trunks, the assembly listens to the speeches of few initiates: environment, legislation, architecture, landscape design, art approach. All of us agree with what is said…pictures are taken, the debate is impassionate… Two hours later, the gathering boards the buses and leaves the place.
And the 412 trunks remain in expectation…(photos)
